This year make sure you set yourself some business specific resolutions, have them printed on an A4 sheet and stick it to your desk or office wall so you can see them all the time.
If you are stuck for some ideas, here are some REALISTIC ones you can achieve:
1. Do one marketing activity a month (or a week if you are already doing it each month) see Marketing Ideas List for help
2. Hold some market research of your current clients. Ask a minimum of 40 clients a bunch of questions about your service delivery, pricing and offering. You can do it online via SurveyMonkey.com
3. Review your competitors and do some in-house competitor research, remember that they are evolving too!
4. List your business on some online directories - see here for a list of 10 free Australian directories
5. Implement at least one customer relationship management activity to keep your customers happy then repeat it over and over again.
6. Join some networking groups - whether it be online such as Women In Business, a chamber of Commerce like Sydney Hills Chamber or something local to your area.
