Thanks for an excellent post!

I found point number 1 a particularly timely reminder: I don't update my own blog nearly often enough, just because I don't think my ideas are big enough or convincing enough to warrant posting.

And point 6 is something I've only learned fairly recently (d'oh!): the more often you update your site, the better your search rankings are going to be.
